Job Summary

Responsibilities

Sr IT Supervisor forHoneywell International Inc. (Charlotte NC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop Next-Generation architecture SDWAN Extranet Wireless Campus Switching Backbone Routing.
Work closely with Operational Architects to accelerate new technology and design pattern validations.
Functional SDWAN Campus Wireless Global Core Backbone for the EA (enterprise Architecture) organization.
Develop technical strategies to transform SDWAN Wireless Campus Switching Datacenter Micro segmentation.
Work closely with MADS Leadership to accelerate M&A Divest Spinco related Network Deliverables.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to modernize Networks.
Closely work with factory/operational technology teams to understand the end-to-end operational workflow and help designing standard network architecture.
Team Leadership and Management.
Hiring training supervising DC Netops Personnel.
Goals and Performance Management.
Capex Opex Budget Management and Cost Optimization.
Infrastructure Project Planning Execution and Delivery.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree* or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field and 8 years of Network Infrastructure experience.
Must have 6 years of experience with the following: experience of Managing the Delivery of Network project; in-Depth Switching and Routing Knowledge BGP OSPF VxLAN EVPN; in-Depth NSX-T Knowledge; Loadbalancers Operations experience; proficiency in Enterprise Architecture framework principles and tools; experience managing relationships with vendors.
Must have 3 years of experience with the following: leadership and management.
Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 times per week.
*Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

40 hours/week
