Job Summary

Job Description:

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Primary Tasks:

- Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe efficient manner.

- Check product for damages and alert receivers if necessary.

Requirements:

Bending

Twisting

Kneeling

Standing

Stooping

Walking

Finger and wrist manipulation more than 50% of the time with handheld tools and/or devices

Requires the following actions with more than 20 lbs on more than an occasional basis:

Lifting

Pushing

Pulling

Carrying

Equipment Used:

Pallet jack: Hand held tools and/or devices

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Experience:

Warehouse and / or production work experience.

OSHA Forklift operator certificate preferred
