General Description: | |
Maintains hospital facilities in a clean sanitary orderly and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient care and staff work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that include dusting washing and disinfecting furniture fixtures and equipment; sweeping moping and scrubbing floors gathers and dispose of refuse gathering laundry; washing drying folding and putting away laundry; arranging and moving furniture and performing similar tasks. Keep entryways and exits clear of trash and cleaning glass doors and enclosures. Washes and cleans windows in rooms hallways and exits/entries. The incumbent works in an atmosphere that is autonomous yet team oriented. 40 hours per week. | |
Experience/Education Requirements: | |
A high school diploma or GED is required. The ability to read write and speak English is mandatory. Prior experience in a laundry and/or housekeeping position is desired. | |
