Job Summary

Position Summary
The University Animal Research Operations Analyst serves as a senior analytical and strategic support role for the institutions animal research program with responsibility for evaluating and improving the operational financial and compliance-related performance of a highly regulated research enterprise. This position provides advanced analysis of workflows staffing and financial models facility utilization and regulatory impacts to support efficient sustainable and compliant animal research operations while upholding the highest standards of animal welfare. Operating with a high degree of independence the Analyst synthesizes complex data from multiple functional areas and translates findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. The role partners closely with veterinary leadership research administration compliance offices ( IACUC EH&S) facilities and finance to inform strategic planning resource allocation and long-term program sustainability across the institution.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to analyze complex multi-source datasets and develop meaningful performance metrics. - Significant progressively responsible experience in operational analysis program evaluation or financial analysis within a complex regulated environment. - Demonstrated experience supporting decision-making for leadership through data-driven analysis and recommendations. - Strong operational acumen including understanding of cost drivers staffing models and resource utilization. - Ability to clearly communicate complex analyses and recommendations to senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups. - Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities. - Ability to work independently exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive or confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Experience with institutional benchmarking peer analysis and best-practice assessments. - Advanced proficiency with data visualization financial modeling or enterprise reporting tools. - Experience supporting strategic planning change management or enterprise-wide operational improvement initiatives.
