Responsibilities

    Within Software:

    • Assist the Scrum Master to make Agile team ceremonies (Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives) effective.
    • Remove impediments and foster a high-performing team environment.
    • Shield the teams from external interruptions and distractions.
    • Track team health metrics such as velocity burn-down charts and sprint predictability.
    • Coordinate release activities and go/no-go decisions.
    • Facilitate cross-team alignment and integration planning.
    • Champion continuous improvement and feedback culture.

    Within Sonar Products

    • Coach teams Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices.
    • Drive Agile transformation initiatives across departments.
    • Facilitate cross-team coordination alignment and Agile scaling (e.g. SAFe LeSS or custom frameworks).
    • Champion a culture of feedback learning and collaboration.

    Capacity-Based Roadmap Planning

    • Work with Product Management and Delivery Leadership to create and maintain a realistic capacity-driven product roadmap.
    • Forecast delivery timelines using team velocity and historical data.
    • Ensure features and epics are planned in alignment with available team capacity considering factors such as holidays team changes and technical debt work.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work based on value risk and effort.

    Project/Program Support

    • Coordinate and support requests from the Engineering and Program Delivery teams to the Software Development group
    • Ensure alignment between software initiatives and broader program objectives.
    • Facilitate cross-team communication and integration planning.
    • Support Research and Development Projects with external customers.



    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe etc.).
    • Proven experience in capacity planning forecasting and roadmap management.
    • Scrum Master certification (CSM PSM) required; SAFe or Agile Coaching certifications a plus.
    • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams is preferred.
    • Strong facilitation conflict resolution and communication skills.
    • Experience with Agile planning tools (Jira Azure DevOps Rally etc.).
    • 5 years of experience in an Agile environment with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
