Are you a hands-on Financial Controller who enjoys owning the full financial scope of our business in the EMEA-AP region We are looking for a Financial Controller who takes responsibility works independently and likes to collaborate closely with both local and international stakeholders.

You report directly to the Finance Director EMEA-AP and are part of a close-knit and experienced finance team. You will work together with the local management team. You will be based at our EMEA-AP headquarter in Gorinchem (the Netherlands).

Monthly salary between 5.00000 and 6.50000 based on a 40-hour work week (depending on your knowledge and experience)

Responsibilities of Financial Controller

End-to-end responsible for the monthly quarterly and annual close for the EMEA-AP region including legal entities in:
o United Kingdom (service sales and logistics)
o Netherlands (manufacturing sales and service)
o Singapore (sales office)
Preparation review and consolidation of EMEA-AP financial reporting
Preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations
Full accounting ownership for the entities in the EMEA-AP region including statutory and management reporting
Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management across EMEA-AP
Management of multi-currency accounting including FX remeasurement and translation
Responsible for UK payroll and VAT compliance
Coordination of statutory accounts and external audits
Responsible for SOX-compliant internal controls
Act as a business partner to country and regional leadership across EMEA-AP
Ability to interpret and consistently apply group accounting policies across EMEA-AP entities

Job requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or similar
At least 5 years of accounting experience

You are accurate reliable and accountable
A hands-on result-driven mindset with strong ownership
You enjoy working together and communicating with different stakeholders
Fluent in English and Dutch
Willing to travel occasionally to Leeds UK
