This position will manage the Dispatch Center located in Pompano Beach FL. Must live within one hour of Pompano Beach FL.

I. Job Summary

This manager level position manages the day-to-day operations of an Areas Centralized Dispatch Department. This position ensures success by establishing and maintaining performance and productivity metrics and cost management processes. Reviews operational efficiencies safety service and other operational problems with the sales customer service and operations functions in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

II.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day operations of centralized dispatch within a Market Area.
Establishes and implements guidelines which maximize unit cost management while growing the business through reinforcing efficient driver performance.
Assists in meeting Area and Districts residential commercial and roll off efficiency goals.
Communicates roll off capacity to districts.
Ensures district rosters are reported to central dispatch daily.
Develops implements and maintains processes procedures and programs to improve safety productivity and profitability of the site.
Maintains and understands Service Machine standards.
Runs daily Service Machine reports to verify recovery and carryover percentages.
Delivers verbal and written disciplinary action to employees when necessary.
Conducts performance reviews for employees using the PDS process and other appropriate performance management tools.
Recruits selects hires and ensures training of dispatch employees
Performs other duties as assigned.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

Will supervise 90 employees.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelors Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Five (5) years of relevant work experience in the waste environmental services energy or transportation industry and two plus (2) years of supervisory or management experience (in addition to education requirement).

B.Certificates Licenses Registrations or Other Requirements

Valid Drivers License required.

C. Other Knowledge Skills or Abilities Required

Proficient in the following software: Resource Center OCSD and MAS.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Travel will be required as needed.

The expected salary range for this position is $108600 - $140000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates relevant experience education training certifications qualifications and work location.
