The Maintenance Technician is a TEMP TO PERM role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and maintain all types of plant office yard building equipment structures and facilities such as roofs floors doors partitions etc. Layout construct erect and install equipment such as conveyors ducts racks partitions etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair both electrically and mechanically all plant equipment and machinery. Select proper tools and equipment make necessary repairs adjustments and replacements on all types complex controls control panels bus ducts wireways including those with multiple interlocking and safety devices.
- Dismantle machines equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists cranes hand tools or power tools.
- Perform yard grounds and building maintenance duties. Replace repair and glaze windows and glass. Make plumbing repairs such as repairing valves cutting and threading pipe tubing and hoses. Replace lights ballasts cords receptacles and other general electrical duties. Perform painting duties and generally assist in all maintenance work as instructed.
- Perform above duties in a safe manner and without assistance except on unusual or difficult jobs. Consistently produce work of proper quality and quantity.
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES
- Proven ability to work from verbal and written instructions.
- Proficiency using an electronic ticketing system.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school education or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of related experience required.
- HVAC experience and/or certification a plus

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to various workplace hazards including chemicals machinery and noise. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
