Job Summary

POSITION INFORMATION:

Highly qualified elementary special education teacher; Teach special education in a cross-categorical specialized classroom setting; Ideal candidate will possess Arizona Special Education certification an AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and a Mild/Moderate or Cross-Categorical certification preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for all aspects of planning and implementing classroom insgtruction and individual education plans for students with disabilities in order to provide a free and appropriate public education.

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with Board policy on evaluation of professional staff.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary and work year in accordance with the currently approved professional salary placement schedule and work calendar. Candidates that meet the Career Pathways qualifications may be eligible for an additional performance based compensation.
