A DAY IN THE LIFE- POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Planning and Execution:
Plans directs andleadsall sales and sales training activities forspecifiedArea.
Consistently meetsand exceedsquarterly and annual sales targets salesbudgetand account development targets.
Developsandexecutesaccurateand on-going salesplansto achievesales objectives.
Drivessales and adoption of new Vascular technologies within theAreadeveloping and implementing sales strategies plansand tactics.
Collaborateswith Vascular District Managers toidentifyopportunities execute sales strategies andleveragethe full product portfolio to maximize revenue and market share.
Works with the Area Sales Director toestablishquotas and targets ensuring strategies are in place to meet and exceedplan.
Ensures effective communication and implementation of all sales and marketing programs across the Area.
Responsible for managing team to update Launch Dashboards on a weekly basisi.e.Tableau Salesforce Opportunity Funnel.
Manages and controls team expenses efficiently to support businessobjectives.
Leadership and Development:
Manages coaches and evaluates field employee performance through quarterly field rides and ongoing feedback.
Hires trains develops andretainsfield employees to build a high-performing team focused on therapy adoption and achieving business goals.
Fosters a collaborativeteamculture and ensures effective coordination with the Vascular Sales Reps/Clinicals and cross-functional partners.
Conductsperformance management discussionsleveragingobservations andresults/metrics to drive employee growth and accountability.
Provides input on compensation plans to incentivize therapy adoption and sales performance.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment
Collaborateswith cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives and strategic priorities.
Works with the Strategic Accounts Director to alignonGroup Purchasing Organizations (GPO)andIntegrated Delivery Networks (IDN)contracting strategies and drive physician and local supply chain supportfrom target accountsto influence demand at the GPO/IDN level.
Interfaces withVascular leadership and theStrategicAccounts team to ensure vascular products are oncontractand these contracts areutilizedto drive growth.
Partners with Area Service Managers to align andleverageclinical resources based on the local sales strategy. Works with the ASM to fullyutilizeclinical relationships andexpertiseto support and grow the Vascular business.
Customer Relationship Management:
Buildsandmaintainsstrong relationships with physicians administrators and other decision-makers todrive therapy adoption and account growth.
Develops andmaintainsa thorough understanding of the client base. Ensures a working relationship between Medtronic and key accounts is maintained
Attend clinical meetings seminars conferences etc. as appropriate
Product and Market Knowledge:
Develops andmaintainsa high levelof product knowledge and relevant medical information for self directand indirect reports
Ethical Culture:
Ensures the team upholds the companys ethical standards and effectively communicates and enforces business conduct policies.
MUST HAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
Sr ATM:
Bachelors Degree and 7 years professional medical device sales experience
OR-
Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant sales and leadership experience
5 years leading teams with strong launch execution & discipline
NICE TO HAVE- DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proventrack recordof success in medical device sales and experience leading field sales teams.
Preference for qualified local candidates and those with prior Medtronic experience.
Demonstrated success and a strongtrack recordin medical device sales.
Knowledge of interventional cardiology customer base.
Additionalexperience in marketing training technical services or related fields is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal written communication and presentation skills.
