As our dealership continues to grow we are looking for a dependable and hands-on Facilities Manager / Janitor to help maintain and improve our facility.
Position Summary
The Facilities Manager / Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness upkeep safety and general maintenance of the dealerships buildings and grounds. This role combines daily janitorial duties with light maintenance and facilities oversight ensuring the dealership remains clean functional and welcoming at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Janitorial & Cleaning Duties
Clean and maintain showroom offices restrooms service areas break rooms and common spaces
Sweep mop vacuum and maintain floors
Empty trash and recycling and manage disposal schedules
Clean windows doors and glass surfaces
Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies
Facilities & Maintenance
Perform routine building inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues
Handle minor repairs (light plumbing painting basic electrical fixtures door hardware etc.)
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for larger repairs or services
Assist with seasonal tasks (snow removal coordination lawn care support weather preparation)
Maintain service bays and shop cleanliness standards
Safety & Organization
Ensure compliance with safety health and cleanliness standards
Maintain proper storage and organization of supplies and equipment
Set up and break down rooms for meetings events or dealership functions
Respond promptly to facility-related issues during business hours
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior janitorial facilities or maintenance experience preferred
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning equipment
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing bending and walking throughout the day
Valid drivers license required
