The Senior Accountant ensures accurate compliant and standardized financial accounting across the N-iX Group entities. This role is pivotal in maintaining local accounting policies and the Chart of Accounts aligned with local GAAPs and Group standards for ensuring all financial information is accurately and completely recorded maintaining compliance with both local and international accounting standards. This includes managing the month-end closing process overseeing the work of outsourced accountants and performing thorough reconciliations to ensure accuracy. The position drives automation and efficiency in accounting operations supports Group Reporting and Tax in policy implementation and audits and is key to the transformation and alignment of accounting processes across the Group.

Responsibilities:

1 Financial Leadership

Supervise the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements and tax reports (VAT CIT etc.) ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting integrity.
Lead and oversee the end-to-end accounting operations of N-iX Group companies ensuring full compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
Own and continuously enhance local accounting policies and the Chart of Accounts in alignment with Group standards.
Direct and control the month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy timeliness and transparency

2. Regulatory Governance

Ensure consistent implementation of Group accounting policies and reporting standards across local operations.
Monitor changes in accounting and tax legislation assess business impact and lead timely implementation of required updates.
Drive standardization and harmonization of accounting processes to improve efficiency and control.

3. Financial Accounting Control

Oversee general ledger integrity and reconciliation processes ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
Establish strong internal controls and proactively identify assess and mitigate financial risks.
Lead resolution of complex accounting issues and discrepancies.

4. Oversight of Outsourced Accounting

Manage and evaluate outsourced accounting providers ensuring high-quality timely and policy-compliant deliverables.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives including automation and digitalization of financial processes.

5. Audit & Stakeholder Management

Act as the contact point for internal and external audits ensuring full support during audit processes.
Provide leadership and guidance for preparing audit supporting documentation explanations and remediation plans.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar financial role ideally within an international group structure.
Upper-intermediate level of English
University degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline; advanced certification (e.g. CPA ACCA) preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills experience with Accounting software ( Microsoft D365 Business Central will be a plus)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex financial processes independently.
