Role Definition:

Provides legal tax and litigation support for business division.

What will you do:

- Manage Tax and Customs Litigation.

- Advise management and provide clear recommendations on legal matters.
- Provide legal support for a business division in collaboration with a network of legal professionals.
- Research complex legal issues draft and review legal documents consistent with legal strategies and goals in line with companys business objectives.

Skills:

Risk Management: Knowledge of processes tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organizations exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Sense of urgency.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Legal Analysis & Legal Function: Knowledge of methods and tools used in legal analysis; ability to read interpret and draw accurate conclusions from both legal and factual information. Knowledge of the major responsibilities accountabilities and organization of the legal function or department; ability to provide legal consulting advice and assistance.

Basic requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Law. Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) is required.

- Advanced English (Full Professional).

- Experience in Litigation and Consulting in Direct Indirect Taxes and on Customs Legislation.

Top candidates will also have:

- Experience in Multinational Company with Tax/Customs Litigation background.

- Desire and ability to learn legal and other skills.

- Business Acumen.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
