Civil Project Engineer Land Development Markham Area

Role description:

In response to strategic growth we are seeking an experienced CivilProject Engineer for our Markham office. The successful candidate will be working with our Land Engineering Team with both senior and junior staff with a primary focus on City of Toronto urban development projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Leading project tasks including researching compiling and evaluating project data
• Preparation of technical reports including Engineering Due Diligence Reports Functional Servicing Reports and SWM reports
• Preparation of detailed design engineering drawings including site servicing grading and municipal infrastructure design
• Performing design calculations for Storm Sanitary and Water in support of proposed developments
• Coordination with our international design support teams to provide CAD support
• Site visits for data collection and construction observation
• Complete other administrative duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. P. Eng status or Eligibility for registration with PEO
• 5 or more years of proven professional experience working on civil infrastructure/ land development
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask prioritize and take direction while working in a dynamic project environment
• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• A commitment to excellence and high-quality work with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Fluent in the useof: Civil 3D Microsoft Office software
• Valid Ontario Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract
