SOC Analyst

About this position:

At Xoriant we are seeking a proactive and skilled SOC Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of hands-on experience in 24x7 incident and log monitoring across servers networks and devices. You will be responsible for triaging security alerts assessing threat severity and executing appropriate responses. A strong operational understanding of security tools including SIEM platforms (such as Google SecOps/Chronicle or Microsoft Sentinel) and endpoint security tools (EDT Email APT DLP) is essential. The role requires a solid grasp of SOC tier levels (L1/L2/L3) escalation procedures and industry frameworks including NIST and MITRE ATT&CK. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CompTIA) are highly preferred.

Key skills you will require:

Primary Skills

• Must have 2 - 8 years of 24x7 Incident Monitoring Log Monitoring (Server Network and other devices)
• Must know security tools SIEM (Google SecOps/Chronicle or any other SIEM tools like Microsoft Sentinel)
• Must have experience in triage of alerts understand the extent of the threat and respond to the threats
• Must have very good understanding of L1 L2 & L3 and escalation process Administer and manage endpoint tools like EDT Email APT and DLP. Good understanding of NIST & MITRE ATT&CK framework and followed the guidelines for SOC operations. Certification: CompTIA or any Cybersecurity certification.

Qualification you must require:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 28 years experience in SOC.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
