Job Duties:

The Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is searching for a passionate educator with expertise in general physiology and/or exercise physiology to join our team. We are seeking applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position that will begin in the fall of 2026.

Under general supervision of the department chair successful candidates willbe responsible forteaching undergraduate and/or graduate general physiology and/or exercise science courses (if applicable) and advising addition to preparing for and holding classes teaching involvesmaintainingcurrency in the content area related to the teaching assignment evaluating students work assessing student outcomes providing regular and substantive feedback on student workmaintainingappropriate records and holding office successful candidate is expected tomaintainan active on-going program of scholarshipappropriate totheir addition faculty provideserviceto the department college universitycommunityand/or professional duties may be assigned by the chair or dean.

  • A demonstrated record of or strong potential for publication in peer-reviewed academic journals.
