The Construction Project Manager III (CPM 3) leads large multi-year multi-phase capital programs across FMOLHS hospitals including high-risk clinical renovations expansions central energy plant (CEP) upgrades and infrastructure overhauls. This role exercises high levels of autonomy technical mastery and system-level leadership. The CPM 3 oversees complex technical systems major design direction stakeholder alignment regulatory compliance and high-level risk and reporting responsibilities across active healthcare environments. The CPM 3 leads complex multi-project capital programs with minimal oversight. Owns outcomes risk management and strategic decision-making in active healthcare environments.
30% Capital Program Leadership
Lead multi-year multi-phase programs ($50M$100M).
Direct A/E teams consultants and commissioning agents.
25% Technical & Regulatory Expertise
Oversee compliance with FGI Joint Commission and NFPA standards.
Manage shutdown strategies CEP systems utilities and multi-phase sequencing.
20% Budget & Executive Reporting
Oversee major capital budgets and funding allocations.
Present financial forecasts project health summaries schedule updates and major issue logs to executive leadership.
15% Coaching & System Standards
Mentor PM1 and PM2 staff.
Drive system-wide construction processes and standards.
Remain current with healthcare construction best practices and advise leadership on process improvements.
10% Stakeholder & Executive Interaction
Engage with market presidents COOs and system leadership.
Participate in key market committees tied to capital projects facility master planning and strategic initiatives.
Education: Bachelors Degree in a Construction related field
Experience: 7 years experience in Commercial Project Management must include high complexity multi-phase projects. Demonstrated healthcare experience strongly preferred.
