Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
What Youll Be Doing
- Operate haul trucks to transport materials within the site.
- Perform pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure safe operation of the haul truck.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support site operations.
What Are We Looking For
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and tasks.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug screen and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
