JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

RN-CVOR

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiovascular Operating Room will have the following job responsibilities:

  • A Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse is a specialized Registered Nurse (RN) who provides patient care before during and after complex heart lung and vascular surgical procedures working as part of the surgical team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing the operating room and equipment monitoring the patients vital signs administering medications assisting with the cardiopulmonary bypass machine and managing post-operative care.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

RN-CVOR

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiovascular Operating Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an Acute Care environment Required!
  • If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (Theyll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
  • BSN is preferred
  • BLS ACLS PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
  • If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience theyll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
  • CNOR preferred
