The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is accountable for operationalising this model.

The Operations Manager exists to ensure that every step of the operating model is executed flawlessly in practice with clarity discipline and measurable outcomes.

This is an internal execution role not a client-facing position.
Its value is measured in execution quality predictability and operational leverage.

Role Overview

As Operations Manager you will report directly to the COO and play a critical role in supporting and strengthening MBK Globals operating and GTM execution model across:

  • the MBK Global holding company and
  • all MBK Global joint ventures operating under its governance framework.

You will ensure that:

  • operating model steps are clearly supported and followed
  • dependencies and hand-offs are tracked and managed
  • execution risks are surfaced early and
  • operational performance improves continuously.

Key Responsibilities

GTM & Operating Model Execution

  • Support the COO in operationalising MBK Globals GTM and operating models.
  • Ensure defined execution steps workflows and control points are properly supported.
  • Track execution across the full lifecycle (partner onboarding engagement delivery scaling).
  • Identify execution gaps delays or misalignments and escalate early with recommendations.

Cross-Functional & JV Coordination

  • Coordinate across internal functions (Operations Finance IT Commercial Shared Services).
  • Support alignment between MBK Global and JV execution teams.
  • Ensure smooth operational hand-offs across functions and geographies (Qatar Pakistan).

Performance Tracking KPIs & Reporting

  • Maintain operational trackers execution logs and KPI dashboards.
  • Prepare structured weekly and monthly reports for the COO covering:
    • execution status
    • risks and bottlenecks
    • corrective actions and priorities.
  • Enable fact-based operational decision-making.

Process Discipline & Continuous Improvement

  • Help document maintain and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support ISO-aligned quality and process management practices (where applicable).
  • Identify opportunities to simplify standardise or improve execution workflows.
  • Support rollout of improved processes as MBK Global scales.

Operational Readiness & Scale Enablement

  • Support onboarding of new joint ventures partners or initiatives into the operating model.
  • Help ensure operational readiness before execution commitments are made.
  • Maintain organised audit-ready operational documentation.


What Were Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in operations execution PMO operating model support or delivery-focused roles.
  • University degree in Engineering Business Administration Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a multinational enterprise (MNC) or similarly structured enterprise-grade organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience operating within complex operating models involving multiple functions geographies or joint ventures.
  • Experience in consulting energy industrials technology or professional services environments is a strong advantage.

Professional Qualifications & Certifications (Strongly Preferred)

  • Relevant professional qualification and/or certification in operations quality or process management including:
    • ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) practical implementation and operation experience.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence (Green Belt / Black Belt) are an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and running structured process and quality frameworks not just documenting them.

Core Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong command of KPIs performance tracking and execution metrics.
  • Proven ability to translate operating models and GTM flows into day-to-day execution reality.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High competence in building and maintaining:
    • operational trackers
    • dashboards
    • execution logs
    • structured management reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High proficiency in spreadsheets and standard productivity tools.
