Job Summary
Job Description:
The Logistic Manager will be responsible for planning coordinating and managing the movement storage and distribution of dairy products and raw materials. The role ensures timely deliveries cost optimization cold-chain compliance and smooth coordination between production warehouses transporters and retail outlets.
Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of dairy products to company outlets and customers
Manage fleet operations route planning and vehicle utilization
Coordinate with transporters vendors and warehouse teams
Maintain cold-chain standards for perishable products
Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with stores and production teams
Control logistics costs and improve operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and regulatory norms
Prepare logistics reports and MIS for management review
Handle logistics-related issues delays and escalations effectively
Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management or equivalent
(Post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage)
Strong understanding of dairy or FMCG logistics
Knowledge of cold-chain management
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery timelines
Proficiency in MS Excel MS Word and email communication
Experience with ERP / inventory or logistics management software preferred
Additional Details -
58 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management preferably in dairy FMCG or food industry
1. Working Days: 6 days (rotational weekly off between Monday to Friday)
2. Gender Preference: Male
3. Working Hours: 8.5 hours per day
4. Location: Travel required to Marine Lines Nariman Point and Varwada
5. Experience Required: Minimum 10 years
6. Interview Process: Face-to-face (2 to 3 rounds)
