During the Part-time Finance Internship you will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience and contribute to real-world projects in one or more of the following areas including; Corporate Cash Management Employee Benefits Fund Management Foreign Exchange/Commodities Risk Management Corporate Funding Accounts Receivables or Supplier Finance. As a finance intern you will perform the same tasks as our Entry Level Finance Analysts.

Role Definition
Performs various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit.

Responsibilities
Responding to inquiries and contacting other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems.
Posting entries verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting systems.
Upon request take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
Maintain implement and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP.

PT Internship Qualifications:

Must be currently pursuing a degree at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following programs: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics Business or a related Technology field at the time of application and throughout the program.

Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (both Finance GPA & Cumulative GPA).

12 completed semester hours at a 4-year university prior to the start of the internship.

If a transfer student must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university.

Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products types competitors customer base major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple clear language appropriate to the audience.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations

Summary Pay Range:

$22.50 - $40.25

Intern Hour Rate:

An interns hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
