Searching for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist to join our team in Chicago IL.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Collaborate with risk stakeholders to assess workflows andidentifyareas for AI-driven productivity improvements.
Design and implement AI-based solutions including automation tools and intelligent agents using platforms such as Co-Pilot / Co-Pilot Studio.
Develop andoptimizeprompts for LLMs to ensureaccurate context-aware outputs for business use cases.
Provide guidance on best practices for prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs for enterprise applications.
Conduct workshops and training sessions to promote adoption of AI solutions among risk teams.
Operate independently and interact with senior management and committees to present AI opportunities and outcomes.
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer ScienceEngineeringor a related quantitative field.
Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g. GPT) and prompt engineering techniques.
Proficiencyin Python and familiarity with AI/automation libraries and frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Co-Pilot Studio and GenAI concepts.
Strong understanding of AI solution lifecycle management including deployment and monitoring.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Range:
$114700 - 194900 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
