Who is Sedgefield Racecourse
One of the countrys friendliest racecourses with a reputation for a warm relaxed atmosphere. Set in the beautiful Durham countryside Sedgefield Racecourse hosts 20 fixtures over the year and is also available for venue hire.
About the role:
The Business Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the commercial and administrative operations of the racecourse ensuring the smooth delivery of both racing and non-racing business activities.
Acting as the primary on-site point of contact the role will liaise closely with the regional sales hub delivery teams and clients to coordinate commercial packages from initial enquiry through to final delivery. This includes ensuring clear communication accurate information flow and a high standard of client service throughout the process.
Working in partnership with the General Manager the Business Coordinator will support all site-based commercial activity including representing the venue conducting show-rounds and coordinating non-central and local suppliers. The role will also be responsible for ensuring all site-specific sales and marketing collateral is available up to date and presented professionally alongside maintaining and updating relevant systems and records.
This role is office-based for 24 hours per week worked over 4 days out of 5. The anticipated working pattern is Tuesday to Friday 9:00am3:00pm although flexibility can be discussed for the right candidate.
