Job Summary
Yard Associate
This full-time position will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area warehouse areas shipping and receiving of products loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Stocking receiving pulling and staging all yard/warehouse products.
- Loading unloading and securing product for customers delivery vehicles and inbound trucks.
- Keeping yard area neat and organized.
- Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments.
- Focusing on safe work practices such as wearing PPE proper lifting techniques etc. while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned such as receiving etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
- Forklift experience helpful not required
- Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful but not required
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $20.91 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including but not limited to the position being offered location education training and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs commissions car allowance or automobile and fuel program and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
