Position Summary
We are seeking energetic and outgoing individuals to join the OVG team as a Concession Hawker at Mirabito Stadium. As a Hawker you will be responsible for selling alcohol soda chips hotdogs to fans in the stands during events. This is a physically demanding role as you will be lifting heavy items (25-40 lbs) and walking up and down the stadium stairs for long periods of time.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching
This position will remain open until April 17 2026.
Responsibilities
- Transporting food & beverage items from the concession stand to the seating area
- Lifting heavy items (30 lbs) and carrying them in a tub around your neck
- Walking up and down the stadium stairs to reach customers in the stands
- Selling food and beverage items to fans in the stands
- Keeping the tub organized and clean
- Staying knowledgeable about all products and menu items
- Taking payment from customers and making change as needed
- Selling alcohol in accordance with state laws and venue guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy items (30 lbs) and carry them in a drink tub/carrier
- Ability to walk up and down the stadium stairs with ease
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced crowded environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and holidays
