Role Purpose

The Chief Operating Officer North America (COO) is responsible for overseeing the organizations day-to-day operations (covering all Ground Handling Operations (Excluding Cargo & Fuel) in the USA Canada & the Caribbean) and ensuring efficient execution of the companys strategic objectives. The COO will work closely with the EVP Americas and executive leadership team to translate vision into actionable plans optimize processes and drive operational excellence across all departments.

What you will be doing

Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily business operations and ensure alignment with strategic
  • Develop implement and monitor operational policies and
  • Ensure organizational efficiency scalability and performance
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Partner with the EVP on strategic planning and business growth
  • Translate company strategy into operational plans and measurable
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust operations as
People & Culture
  • Lead and mentor department heads and senior
  • Foster a performance-driven collaborative company
  • Support talent development succession planning and organizational
Financial & Performance Management
  • Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting forecasting and cost
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and
  • Ensure operational performance meets financial
Process Improvement & Risk Management
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement
  • Establish quality control and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulatory and internal
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate efforts across departments including Operations HR Finance Sales and
  • Act as a key decision-maker during critical operational and organizational
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership

What we are looking for:

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Operations Management or related (MBA preferred)
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience including senior management
  • Proven experience managing complex operations and leading cross-functional
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution
  • Excellent leadership communication and decision-making
  • Deep understanding of operational metrics process optimization and performance
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
  • Ability to lead change in fast-paced evolving
