Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Inpatient Psychiatric (5 West)
Schedule: 36 hours per week 11am-11:30pm every 3rd weekend required
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver nursing care in the inpatient behavioral health setting including assessing diagnosing planning intervening evaluating and educating patients
Communicate with various health care team members patients and their families
Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
Update and manage patient records
Enter and interpret computerized data/information
Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCs nursing organization
Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Nursing degree: Diploma ASN or BSN (preferred) Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
1 years of Inpatient Behavioral Health RN experience preferred
Certification in basic life support (BLS)
Experience with electronic health record preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
Basic computer proficiency.
Compensation Range:
$39.02- $90.05This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
