Job Summary
13-week assignment for an open ICU. The unit is a medical ICU Surgical ICU CVICU and neuro the event the helicopter cannot fly we will care for pediatric patients in the unit. The unit is consists of two sections containing a 14-bed unit and a 12-bed unit. Patient s placement is determined based on bed availability not by reason for admittance.
Staffing ratio in ICU is 1:2 with the occasional 1:3 for ICU patients. Low census may result in floating to CVCU which is a 1:4 staffing or to ED to care for hold patients with the same patient ratios.

- JOB IS FOR A SPECIFIC TRAVELER
- Work History
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA NIH ACLS - AHA & PALS - AHA)
- Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Oklahoma
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : 5 days out of six weeks
