Job Title: Senior BPC Architect Developer

Description

Governance of the global BPC template solution
Work on high priority requests for stabilizing existing solution in the near term
Work on further enhancements to existing solutions Music Planning and creation of a Publishing global template
Work on wider territory / regional rollouts
Work on the project plan and design of the reimplementation of solution onto BPC 10.1 Standard on BW on HANA solution
Delivery of future Planning Reporting initiatives using the BPC tool including system upgrades and patching
Interface with the Global SAP HFM Support Team for downstream / upstream interfaces and inter-dependencies
Ensuring UMGs BPC Strategy is aligned with that of SAPs as well as actively investigating new SAP Products and Technologies (BPC Embedded Solution HANA BOBJ etc.)
Adherence to standards processes and governance in support of the global reporting vision
Production of functional technical specifications for solution development and implementation
Production of testing scripts and training materials for new functionality and enhancements
Providing Level 3 support to the Support Team (occasionally Level 2)

Person Specification

The candidate must have excellent BPC skills accompanied with a solid understanding of SAP FICO in order to have a good understanding of business requirements. They must be a dynamic and proactive individual with the ability to work alone or within the core tea including business and 3rd party representatives.
They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to document and present implemented solution strategies standards and concepts to both business and IT audiences.
The ideal candidate will also possess leadership and management qualities.

Has Advanced Knowledge Of

Creation of BPC 10.1 standard input schedules and reports with greater usage of VBA wherever required
SAPs FPA Roadmap including SAC Planning S4 Group Reporting Central Finance B4 HANA BPC 11 PAPM
Strong ABAP skills with an in-depth knowledge of BPC specific tables customer exits BW variables BADIs BPC specific enhancement spots etc.
MD on Fly completely based on BPC embedded framework ABAP BW objects and Analysis for Office front end
BW backend security for BPC
Performance tuning e.g. COPA load optimisation design for BPC and debugging of standard delivered methods and classes in BPC namespace
Integration aspects with BW e.g. using BW query as a source to extract data
Process chain design for BPC calling BPC specific DM package links
Creation of Data Manager packages and package links adjusting the prompts on them on a regular basis
Good knowledge of logic scripts

Also Has

Educated to university degree level or equivalent qualification
Accounting background experience
Exposure to IT processes methodologies and best practices
Experience in managing and supporting BW and other SAP technologies
Good organisational and time management skills
Excellent Business Rules and Logic Script skills
Strong VBA programming skills
Skills and experience in other FP&A enterprise planning tools such as Anaplan etc. would also be highly advantageous.
