Job Summary

We have partnered with a Public Accounting firm in the Wakefield MA area to provide them with a Tax Senior. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Tax Senior:
#1. 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
#2. CPA candidate and advanced degree preferred
#3. BSBA in accounting
#4. Experience with QuickBooks Microsoft Word and Excel ProSystem FX Tax
Responsibilities of the Tax Senior:
- Preparation of corporate partnership and trust tax returns
- Preparation of individual income tax returns
- Perform tax planning for corporate and individual clients
- Perform bookkeeping services as required
- Assist in the resolution of federal and state tax notices
- Perform research and other special projects as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements of the Tax Senior:
- BSBA in accounting
- CPA candidate and advanced degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
- Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Microsoft Word and Excel ProSystem fx Tax
Other Key Requirements:
- Hybrid opportunity in office Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp to Corp.
