We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: Full-Time 1st Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)

• Work Location: 100% onsite (Everett primary; Renton as needed)

• Overtime: Available on a voluntary basis

Summary:

• SIT is responsible for the installation integration and certification of passenger and attendant seating on commercial aircrafts

• Support the full product lifecycle including customer configuration supplier engagement design validation production support and certification

• Interface with project teams production systems program teams management and technical staff to develop and implement engineering solutions

• Combine cross-functional interiors expertise to deliver industry-leading certified interiors products

• Lead development and maintenance of engineering product definitions

• Develop and modify design layouts to meet customer production and certification requirements

• Create engineering product definitions based on company requirements and parameters

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards requirements and design parameters

• Integrate work statements work scopes and work transfer packages with customer requirements

• Oversee and integrate completion of product definition across internal and external business partners

• Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing or engineering-related issues

• Verify accuracy and completeness of engineering data produced by others

Requirements:

• Associates (AA) degree in a related discipline

• Typically 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience in engineering product definition

• Experience working with aerospace suppliers or airline customers

• Experience supporting validation of regulatory compliance

• Knowledge of design for manufacturing principles

• Ability to collaborate across engineering production and program teams

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Regular and predictable attendance

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
