Material Handler and Driver

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience (Required) Pallet Jack.
Must have a current Forklift Certification
Valid Florida Drivers License with at least two years driving and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.

Certification or Licensing Requirements
Valid Florida Drivers License with at least two years driving and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities:
Maintain transfer and production operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
Verifies all loading and unloading of material for assurance.
Assists Inventory Control for verification of counts and material
Complete loading and unloading documentation when required.
The employee is responsible for the racking of material per instruction.
Communicating to Supervisor any problems with material racks or trucks.
Assisting at processing inbound and outbound racks when needed.
Assemble customer shipments from OSS and place castings in crates.
or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
Prepare product for shipping.
Ensures warehouse is maintained in a clean orderly and visually attractive manner in compliance with 5s policy.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated
Must be able to follow all forklift safety regulations including but not limited to always wearing your seatbelt.
Also in times of necessity a forklift drive will have the same duties as a General Labor.
Schedules and coordinates the truck activities.
Drives the Springs truck to destinations and picks up donated item. Unloads articles at warehouse location or a Spring facility as directed by management.
Maintains truck log by completing the Inspection form weekly.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires lights brakes gas oil and water prior to leaving facility.
Advise supervisor if servicing is required. May perform Emergency Roadside repairs.

Physical Demands
Standing for an extended amount of time; including but not limited to 6 8-hour time periods.
Requires up to 50 lbs. to be lifted.
Walking standing using hands stooping/kneeling reaching and push/pulling are required in the course of job duties each day.
Noise level is high.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision color vision depth perception and ability to focus.
