Introduction

The HR Lead CZ & NEC is responsible forleading the HR function for Havas Czech Republicand acting asHR Lead for the NEC region with a balanced focus betweenlocal leadership (CZ)andregional coordination (NEC).

The role providesstrategic direction prioritization and leadershipfor HR activities ensuring alignment with global HR frameworks while addressing local and regional business needs. The HR Lead ownstalent management strategy leadership agenda and people priorities while relying on dedicated HR roles for execution and administration.

Scope of the Role

50% Czech Republic (Havas Village Prague)

50% NEC Region

The HR Lead manages and coordinates an HR setup composed of:

HR Administration & Payroll Manager(administration payroll reporting)

HR & Talent Acquisition Manager(talent acquisition and operational HR support)

Junior Regional HR Coordinator (regional HR support) based in Budapest

HR Leadership & Business Partnership (CZ)

  • Act as atrusted HR advisorto Czech senior leadership on all people-related matters.
  • Translate business strategy intoHR priorities and action plans.
  • Lead workforce planning organization design discussions and people-related decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance withlocal labor law employment regulations GDPR and health & safety requirements.
  • Deliver the all relevant reporting required by the group (CSR Social) as well as the ACR process.

Talent Management & Leadership Agenda (CZ & NEC)

Own and drive thetalent management strategyacross the scope:

  • Performance management frameworks
  • Talent reviews and succession planning
  • Leadership and development priorities

Plus:

  • Ensure consistent application ofglobal talent frameworks adapted to local and regional realities.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and key people decisions.
  • Oversee talent processes execution through clear direction to HR roles.

HR Strategy & Alignment (NEC)

  • Act as theprimary HR interface for NEC leadership.
  • Translate NEC business objectives intoregional HR priorities aligned with global HR strategy.
  • Coordinate HR annual cycles across the cluster (performance talent reporting governance).
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across NEC countries while respecting local compliance requirements.

Regional Coordination & Governance (NEC)

  • Coordinate and collaborate withcountry HR leads across NEC.
  • Cascade global HR guidelines and ensure proper local execution.
  • Harmonize HR policies and practices where relevant.
  • Consolidate HR insights metrics and key messages for NEC leadership.
  • Coordinateregional CSRD-related HR inputs and reporting.

Culture Engagement & Ways of Working

  • Foster ahigh-performance inclusive culturealigned with Havas values.
  • Promote collaboration and best-practice sharing across countries.
  • Support engagement initiatives and cultural consistency across the cluster.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8 years of progressive HR experience including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing HR across multiple countries or regions.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor law and familiarity with Europe employment regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
