Eatons EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Receiving Team Member - 2nd Shift to join our team in Roanoke VA. The core hours are 3:30pm-12:00am. The hourly rate for this position is $20.78 plus $1.25 shift differential per hour plus $1.25 per hour shift differential.

What youll do:
Must be willing to operate multiple powered industrial equipment such as stand up/sit down forklifts and the electric pallet jack.
Use RF units to scan product and location barcodes.
Relocate incoming shipments to pre-identified location.
Follow safety procedures for equipment used to reduce potential for accidents.
Use provided safety box cutters to cut packaging materials.
Complete daily checkoff sheets while monitoring equipment to ensure proper funtionality.
Ability to lift products and place into proper staging location.
Communicate with direct leadership for direction and answer questions or concerns.
Communicate with coworkers to share expertise.
Understand and meet quota/productivity requirements.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $99000 - $145000 a year.

What youll do:
Performs diversified duties related to MRP planning scheduling and expediting finished goods and components in order to support strategic inventory goals and to ensure on time delivery of customer orders. Requires judgment in anticipating future requirements through analysis and interpretation of current production status. Manages the inventory and production plan for a given product group to optimize and meet plant goals.
In this function you will:
Initiates required documentation and / or system transactions to allocate purchase internally manufacture or reschedule material as required.
Plan and release work orders as required to meet customer orders while maintaining optimum lead time and inventory level.
Track critical items through SAP system to ensure revenue plan is met and PD continues to drop
Proactively identifies and reports potential problems which will result in not meeting deadlines or which may result in potential quality problems.
Performs clerical duties necessary to maintain work order WIP accuracy.
Drives shortage meetings with a cross functional team and expedites material where required to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements.
Balances current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities / capacities to ensure on-time completion of customer requirements.
Communicates close with Purchasing Team to ensure uninterrupted flow to support Master Schedule
Working with cross-functional teams to clear up Quality issues and returns to customers cleaning standards to support 5S methodology.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from accredited institution
Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain planning inventory control purchasing logistics stockroom operations and shipping / receiving
Experience with an MRP system
Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) Political Asylee or Refugee
