About this Position

  • Title: Sr. Account Executive
  • Location: DC Metro Area
  • Compensation: Base Salary Commission (uncapped)
  • Solution Experience: IaaS Security DR Hosting Co-location
  • Sales Experience: 5 years technology solution sales
  • Target Market: Commercial State/Federal Government

Responsibilities:
The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business development within enterprise accounts and Federal agencies selling cloud infrastructure and data center solutions.

  • Pursue inbound leads to identify needs and position the right solution
  • Manage an in-depth discovery process to qualify sales leads and opportunities
  • Drive complex consultative sales process from lead to close
  • Design high-level technical solutions using Visio and other tools
  • Diagnose customer pains and needs and present solutions
  • Support technical teams in the development of proposals and RFP responses
  • Use to track sales activities and manage the sales pipeline

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to discuss technical solutions and services at a high level
  • Knowledge of cloud service vendors like Amazon Rackspace Microsoft and VMWare
  • Disciplined self-starter detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience selling technology solutions
  • Deep technical aptitude with ability to design technical solutions
  • Previous experience as a sales engineer a plus
