Accounts Payable & General Accounting Clerk at Shift Auto Group

You will play a key role in supporting accurate financial records strong vendor relationships and efficient accounting processes.

What Youll Do

Accounts Payable & Vendor Relations

• Receive review and process vendor invoices accurately and on time

• Work with internal teams to obtain approvals confirm coding and resolve discrepancies

• Assist with processing payments by cheque EFT or other approved methods

• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate billing issues

• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and documentation

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors

• Assist with vendor onboarding and maintaining vendor master data
  

Expense & Credit Card Processing

• Assist with processing employee expense claims

• Help reconcile corporate credit card statements and post journals to the general ledger

• Follow up on missing receipts or coding questions
  

General Accounting Support

• Assist with journal entries account reconciliations and month-end close activities

• Support accounts receivable or cash management tasks as needed

• Help maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting schedules

• Prepare reports or analyses for management and the accounting team
  

Additional Support

• Assist with internal and external audit requests

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support improvement initiatives

• Provide general administrative support to the administrative team as required
