The Labor Market Specialist plays a key role in preparing collecting analyzing and assigning occupational codes for the OEWS sample. This position reviews returned reports for accuracy completeness and content and analyzes the returned data to assign appropriate occupational classification and wage data for accuracy. Some travel for training may be required.
The Office of Workforce Development (OWD)is a key division of Louisiana Works managing programs in workforce training job placement apprenticeships and business engagement. Through collaboration with local boards educational institutions and industry partners OWD aims to improve economic mobility for job seekers and ensure Louisiana employers have the skilled talent they need contributing to the states economic growth.
