Join our Group Architecture team as a strategic partner driving the implementation of enterprise-wide architecture this pivotal role youll work closely with senior leadership to translate architectural vision into actionable outcomes across the Bank.

As a Group Architecture team we are a proactive partner to technology and business teams. We identify and address changing business requirements as well as opportunities arising from emerging technologies and industry trends. Our role involves driving the integration of technology systems processes and data in a manner that is both risk-weighted and cost-optimized. We establish and maintain architectures principles standards tools and best practices to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization. Through structured control and assurance systems we implement and ensure architecture alignment. Additionally we support teams across the bank in understanding and adhering to these architecture standards and best practices.

You will play a crucial role in establishing an effective operating model for the federated architecture teams and translating architectural designs into concise directives for the organization.

Your key responsibilities

  • Governance & Oversight - Track and report decision outcomes from the Group Technology Architecture Council (GTAC) attended by members of the TDI leadership. Coordinate delivery of findings and Self-Identified Issues (SIIs) linked to architecture implementation. Manage the endtoend tracking of GTAC decision implementation highlighting emerging risks or issues that require timely escalation
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with CIOs engineering teams and business units to align architecture practices. Represent Group Architecture in forums and meetings as a delegate for the Head of Architecture Implementation
  • Communication & Enablement - Develop compelling presentations and visual aids to communicate architectural principles. Support the preparation and backlog management for GTAC sessions. Responsible for production of all GTAC material working with stakeholders across the bank and production of GTAC minutes.
  • Strategic Execution - Drive adoption of architecture standards across federated teams. Gather feedback and refine implementation strategies based on evolving business needs.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional strategic initiatives within Financial Services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Services architecture across various functions and businesses
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficient in navigating complex organisational structures and driving alignment
  • Strong prioritisation and delivery focus in dynamic environments
