Senior Functional Analyst

Position Description:

In this role the candidate will collaborate with the technical teams developing the solutions to prioritize development work document functional specifications and support the various testing phases. Based on business requirements and processes the candidate will also be responsible for ensuring alignment with the existing organizational architecture.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Gather functional requirements and technical system requirements;
- Collaborate as a specialist on the feasibility/detailed design of the solution with the solution architecture team;
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams in developing the user experience;
- Produce or update system documentation;
- Participate in progress meetings with the development team and report on progress potential solutions and/or issues that could compromise project timelines or completion;
- Perform functional testing;
- Contribute to the monitoring support and resolution of application problems.
To work independently if needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in functional analysis or payroll human resources and time management solutions;
- Minimum of a college diploma in a related field (computer science analysis administration etc.);
- Relevant professional experience within a web application development team (an asset);
- Experience with a structured development methodology (an asset);
- Experience with Agile development cycles (an asset);
- Fluency in French required;

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60000$115000. This role is an existing vacancy.
