About the role
selectability is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented car cleaner to join our dynamic team. As the car cleaner you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet is well-presented and maintained to the highest standard. Your attention to detail will help us deliver safe reliable and professional transport services to our recipients and team members.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- engaging with office employees to ensure vehicles are cleaned and maintained within required timeframes
- cleaning selectability vehicles inside and out including vacuuming interiors
- recording any vehicle damage monthly and reporting findings to the appropriate person
- checking and monitoring tyre pressure on all vehicles regularly
- tracking cleaning supply levels and notifying office employees when replenishment is needed
About you
To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:
- a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
- a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
- ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes
- a proven ability to think critically and approach challenges with innovation
Role requirements
- previous experience in vehicle cleaning or detailing including interior and exterior maintenance (highly desirable)
- a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate (or the ability to obtain)
- a current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence

The car cleaner is a casual position based in Townsville.
