Delivering targeted intervention and mentoring in French & Spanish to help students improve in these subjects
Tracking progress supporting students who speak English as an additional language or who may need extra help with vocabulary grammar pronunciation or cultural context
Working in small groups or one-to-one sessions to build confidence and competence in speaking listening reading and writing
Liaising with classroom teachers to identify gaps and reinforce learning
Support students in exam preparation revision sessions and stretch tasks

French & Spanish Academic Mentor - What the School is Looking For

We are seeking a proactive compassionate and committed individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. You should hold a 2:1 or First Class degree from a top-30 UK University. Previous experience helping students in French & Spanish (or modern languages) is desirable. Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

French & Spanish Academic Mentor - Salary and Contract Info

Academic Mentor roles: 450530 per week pro rata to term-time only
Contract: Full-time long-term (September-July) term-time only
Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
