Title:SRC Fitness Assistant (Temporary Part-Time)

Work Hours: work up to 30 hours per week
Position Summary:Assist in programming fitness and wellness activities as well as maintaining a well-functioning weight room.
Duties andResponsibilities:
50%Assist in supervising student workers and the SRC when the manager is not present.
15% Program fitness activities with the guidance of the SRC manager.
15% Manage the weight room troubleshoot problems with machines provide workouts for members.
10% Lead fitness programs or events.
5%Keep SRC manager informed of current trends in fitness.
5% Assist in the daily operations of the SRC and any extra duties assigned by the SRC manager.

RequiredQualifications:
Some classwork in exercise science. Experience as a college athlete or personal trainer/group fitness instructor. Two years experience

(Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience)
