DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our RADIOLOGY/IMAGING SERVICES RNs provide radiology care for patients from all areas of UWMC inpatient and outpatient. RNs who work in our department provide procedural care including IV starts conscious sedation monitoring and nursing assessment.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- Function as a liaison between patients physicians and other healthcare providers
- Become a subject expert in client teaching of recent or future Radiology care
- Knowledgeable on full cycle nursing care in the Radiology field
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide triage assessment nursing diagnosis and evaluating all aspects of nursing care for each discipline within the procedural of Interventional Radiology
- Review and present all pertinent patient health history physician orders and patient needs to formulate and prioritize a plan for the procedural care.
REQUIREMENTS - This position requires at least two years previous experience in a Procedural Area Emergency or ICU.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
- BLS certification

Pay Range Minimum:
$45.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum:
$83.64 hourly
Other Compensation:
$4.50/hr night shift differential
$4.00/hr weekend shift differential
$2.50/hr evening shift differential
$1.00/hr BSN
$1.25/hr Nursing Certification
