About the role
Join our Engineering Process & Control team as an Officer Delay Accounting where youll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of Fixed Plant production this role youll verify AVEVA Production Management (formerly AMPLA) records support strong coding governance and help drive continuous improvement across our systems and processes.
Reporting to the Superintendent Process Engineering accountabilities of the role include:
Maintain Data Integrity & Standards - Ensure AVEVA Production Management data is accurate and aligned with the Governance Policy coding standards and Standard Time Definitions while supporting bestpractice processes across Fixed Plant & Ports
Support & Develop Operational Teams - Work closely with Fixed Plant Control site teams and key stakeholders; provide coaching and training to controller teams (Fixed Plant/TLO/Port) to improve and standardise delay coding
Drive Continuous Improvement - Identify inconsistencies or improvement opportunities streamline delay accounting practices and guide stakeholders toward effective solutions
Enhance Systems & Processes - Partner with IS&T and other stakeholders to implement and validate system upgrades coding automation and other technical improvements
Strengthen Governance & Compliance - Ensure adherence to AVEVA Production Management Classifier/Confirmer auditing requirements and support ongoing change management in line with the AVEVA Production Management Governance Policy
Contribute to Policy Evolution - Review and recommend updates to the AVEVA Production Management Governance Policy and related guidelines to support continued operational excellence
Enable Insights & Data Access - Assist teams and endusers with accessing interpreting and applying delay data and Time Usage Model metrics
What youll bring
To be successfully considered for this role you will bring :
A solid understanding of the AVEVA Production Management delay accounting platform and its supporting systems
Strong knowledge of Fixed Plant Port and TLO operations including process flow and operational drivers
Familiarity with RTIOs AVEVA Production Management Governance Policy and the Time Usage Model
The ability to coach influence and engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Welldeveloped analytical and statistical skills with a high attention to detail
A commitment to safety of yourself and your team
Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
A C Class Manual drivers license

Where youll be working
This role will be based at our Operations Centre in Perth (near the Perth Airport) on a very enticing 6 days on 6 days off roster operating 12 hours per day providing a balanced family / work lifestyle.
Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks trains and drills at our mines ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location.
The OC incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible. Located near the Perth domestic airport the OC operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines rail and ports from 1500km away.
