About the opportunity
The Senior Insights Analyst is a pivotal role within the International Student Recruitment team responsible for enabling a data-driven approach to recruitment strategy and planning. This position will ensure that both international and domestic recruitment activities are informed by robust analytics with a focus on growing and stabilising international student numbers.
What youll do:
- Lead the development and implementation of policy and institutional targets to monitor evaluate and enhance recruitment strategies for both international and domestic markets.
- Provide timely actionable insights and forecasts to support recruitment planning market and product prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Deliver analysis that informs whole-of-university budget planning and forecasting ensuring recruitment and marketing investments align with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate and optimise the return on investment for all marketing and recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with recruitment marketing admissions and other internal teams to ensure data is integrated into all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle.
What were looking for:
- Extensive experience in complex data analysis interpretation and visualization to inform strategic decision-making ideally within higher education or international recruitment contexts.
- Advanced proficiency in analytics and business intelligence platforms (e.g. Power BI Tableau SQL) to design and deliver sophisticated reporting solutions.
- Deep understanding of global student recruitment trends market intelligence and regulatory compliance with the ability to apply this knowledge to shape strategy and operational priorities.
- Capability to synthesize and model large multi-source datasets translating insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders through clear accessible reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in predictive analytics forecasting and the development of performance frameworks and KPIs to drive recruitment and marketing effectiveness.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152033 comprising base salary within the range of $114282 to $129943 plus 17% superannuation.
