UW MEDICAL CENTER- MONTLAKE- RESPIRATORY CARE is currently recruiting for a RESPIRATORY CARE INTERN to join our Respiratory Care Team! WORK SCHEDULE Shifts AND Hours may varyPOSITION HIGHLIGHTSThe Respiratory Care Intern will report to the Respiratory Care Manager. the Respiratory Care Intern provides advanced Respiratory Care to patients of all ages (e.g. newborn pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric). Care is provided under general supervision in all areas of UW MEDICAL CENTER- JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvide patient care limited to only those procedures that havebeen completed in the associated Respiratory Care School curriculum prior tobeing done in the hospital patient care area Utilize the respiratory care process (assessment planningimplementation and evaluation) to recommend delegate coordinate andprovide safe therapeutic respiratory care to patients;Provide respiratory care consistent with professional practicestandards HMC policies and procedures the Law Relating to Respiratory CarePractitioner #18.89 and Federal and State POSITION QUALIFICATIONSCurrently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Care Program within by the State of UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE Among the top medical centers in the United States and ranked as the number 1 hospital in Washington State as rated by U.S. News & World Reports Americas Best Hospitals UWMC prides itself on compassionate patient care as well as its pioneering medical advances.
