Job Summary

OPS Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Description:

In collaboration with the Spine Centers Research Coordinatorand at times working independentlythis position supports day-to-day clinical research activities within the Spine Program. The role contributes to the successful execution of clinical studies by assisting with participant identification data collection and coordination of research-related activities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen clinic schedules and medical records in Epic and other research platforms to identify potential clinical trial participants.

  • Administer Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) via MyChart or paper formats as appropriate.

  • Support data collection data coordination and accurate data entry for ongoing clinical research studies.

  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of volunteers who shadow Spine Center physicians.

  • Support informed consent discussions in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with coordination collection and processing of research samples as applicable.

  • Collaborate closely with research staff clinical providers and study teams to ensure smooth research operations.

  • Perform additional duties consistent with those of a Clinical Research Assistant or early-career Clinical Research Coordinator as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$25.00 per Hour

Required Qualifications:

Associates degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Prior research experience working with critically ill patients and their families.
