4 Months Contract with a Local Authority
- This role involves delivering a high-quality child-centered social work service that safeguards children supports families and ensures statutory responsibilities are met. The postholder will be responsible for assessing needs developing intervention plans managing risk and collaborating with multi-agency partners to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families using interviews observations and multi-agency information.
- Analyse and evaluate complex information to identify needs strengths risks and protective factors.
- Prepare clear evidence-based written assessments and reports for internal and external audiences.
- Review assessments regularly and adapt plans based on changing circumstances or new information.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience working directly with children and families in a social care or safeguarding setting.
- Ability to analyse complex information and formulate clear professional judgments.
- Experience delivering structured interventions and managing risk.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g. BA Social Work MA Social Work DipSW).
- Registration with Social Work England (essential).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Enhanced DBS Check (required for role).

- The role requires an enhanced DBS.
