What Youll Do
As a Part-Time Social Media Specialist at Sozoroad you will be responsible for building managing and growing Sozoroads social media presence across relevant platforms. You will help shape our brand voice engage our audience and support business goals through thoughtful content consistent interaction and data-driven social media strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive creative and comfortable taking ownership of social media performance while collaborating closely with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan create and schedule engaging social media content aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness engagement and audience growth.
- Monitor social media channels daily including comments messages and chats and respond professionally and promptly.
- Actively manage community engagement by interacting with followers and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Track and analyze social media performance using platform analytics and reporting tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve reach engagement and content performance.
- Stay updated on social media trends platform updates and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and campaign alignment.

Requirements
- A bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Marketing or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in content creation content marketing or a related role. (NOTE: Provide a link to your portfolio within your resume.)
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Strong content creation skills tailored specifically for social media platforms.
- Solid understanding of social media strategy audience behavior and platform best practices.
- Experience interpreting social media analytics and turning insights into action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong community management and engagement skills.
- Highly organized self-motivated and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Willingness to learn about the B2B and professional services space.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite Hootsuite Buffer etc.) are a plus but not required.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are a plus but not required.
